Live Well - Switch to Vegan Skincare

Updated: Feb 28, 2021

Have you considered trying vegan beauty products? I became interested in vegan cruelty-free skincare after discovering the types of synthetic skin-drying chemicals that some big brands contain. As a dry-skin and eczema sufferer, I tried many soaps and creams, before discovering natural skincare.

My interest in soaps started with buying gorgeous artisan cleansing bars from France and bringing them back to the UK as gifts for friends and family. They always seemed so creamy and non-drying than mass-produced soaps.

Unsurprisingly, our small collection of natural soaps and skincare evolved from my interest in vegan and organic products and has been born out of a need to get back to nature and adopt an effective yet gentle skincare solution for the whole family!

LABELS

Have you ever struggled to read the label on your beauty product and find it difficult to understand exactly what the ingredients are? The print is usually tiny, and you need a magnifying glass to read the label or comprehend the strange names of the components that go into making a moisturiser or cleanser!

Check out my Fragrance & Ingredients page to see the English

translation of some of the INCA names.

VEGAN SKINCARE INGREDIENTS

Plants and their fruits, seeds and berries contain rich sources of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other essential nutrients. Since our overall health and wellness benefit greatly by eating plants and their abundant harvest, vegan soap and skin care products can benefit our skin.

CARE FOR YOUR SKIN

Vegan and natural skincare products are kind and gentle and especially soothing for sensitive, dry, eczema-prone skin and rosacea. Pure natural ingredients, cruelty-free soaps and moisturisers are the best at giving your skin a rest and to get back a smooth, healthy complexion. Our skin's appearance and condition reflect the food we eat and the beauty products we use.

SUSTAINABILITY

Vegan manufacturers are conscious about the environment, and the ingredients they make their cosmetics and skincare from. Many companies have signed up to the Vegan philosophy of only using sustainably grown crops. Small artisan companies may even add ingredients grown organically or naturally in their own gardens. Some organic & natural skincare companies are also using ingredients that are certified by the Soil Association.

The Soil Association developed the world's first organic standards in the 1960s. Our licensees must meet strict European laws about the production of organic food. They must also go further in critical areas such as animal welfare, protecting human health, and safeguarding the environment. www.soilassociation.org/farming/certification‎

Shopping vegan preserves nature, and you can be assured there has been no animal testing.

Our products are both vegan and cruelty-free and have been produced for us by a GMP accredited manufacturer. Pop in if you are in the Salisbury area and you can sample some of our lovely products!
