Look after hard working hands

Updated: Feb 28, 2021

There has been so much in the news regarding handwashing over the last few weeks. Regular hand-washing can dry your skin, and alcohol-based hand sanitisers might dry your skin further. Although we need to maintain good hand hygiene, particularly during the current Coronavirus outbreak, it helps protect our skin's natural barrier if we use glycerine creamy soaps and nourishing hand creams.

We have been using Live Well hand & nail cream, a lovely light lavender and lemongrass fragrance all through the winter. Just a little drop every time you wash your hands will help maintain softer hydrated skin. Our light and nourishing hand cream is formulated with coconut oil and shea butter and is easily absorbed into the skin.

We also love our Nourishing Skin Balm, which has several uses but is especially great for chapped hands and rough, dry skin. Our balm is rich in Calendula oil, Meadowfoam seed oil and Cocoa butter and is perfect for cracked, dry heels and as an excellent facial moisturiser and lip balm.

I could do with some of this. My skin is so dry from the constant washing - my skin looks old and wrinkly!
