Taking care of the skin on your body is as essential as taking care of the skin on your face

In the beauty industry, there is often insufficient attention given to caring for the skin on our bodies. While there are numerous moisturisers available for our faces, selecting the right all-over body moisturiser can be overwhelming.

We believe that taking care of the skin on your body is just as important as the skin on your face. Living in a temperate climate can cause our skin to become very dry during both the summer and winter months. To simplify your body care routine, consider using vegan botanical soap and natural body butters and moisturisers that nourish and hydrate your skin.

Benefits of taking care of the skin

  • Prevents dryness and flakiness

  • Softens and soothes skin

  • Improves skin barrier function

  • Reduces signs of ageing

  • Enhances overall skin health

  • Soothing and relaxing

  • It can help with the appearance of stretch marks

When you take a shower or bath, we highly recommend our vegan, nourishing, and skin-kind soap bars, which help preserve the skin's natural oils. But we also offer two additional products specifically designed for dry, thirsty, and mature skin. Both of our skin moisturisers are made using natural and organic botanicals.

Whipped Shea Body Butter

We have sold a substantial amount of our whipped shea butter, which is popular with our customers due to its intensely hydrating properties. This luxurious, smooth, and silky butter not only helps reduce the appearance of dull, dry, and flaky skin but also promotes a softer and more even skin tone on your body, arms and legs. It helps your skin glow, and with summer just around the corner, it's the perfect solution to get your skin ready for all those strappy dresses and bikinis.

If you're suffering from itchy, dry, or flaky skin, applying our rich Shea body butter after a bath or shower will leave your skin feeling supple, smooth, and nourished. It's our favourite product!

The Benefits of Shea Butter

This rich nut butter is ideal for sensitive and dehydrated skin and is suitable for use all over the body. Regular application of shea butter provides numerous benefits, including increased skin moisture and anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe the skin. Significant levels of vitamins A and E in Shea help protect the skin from free radicals that can lead to premature ageing and dull skin.

Shea vs. Cocoa Butter

Both Shea and Cocoa butter are excellent moisturisers for dry skin, as they are emollients that help to lock in moisture and keep the skin hydrated for extended periods. Given a choice, we prefer to use Shea butter because it contains vitamins E and A, which are essential for collagen production. These vitamins contribute to a plump appearance of the skin.

Shea butter products are great for hydrating and moisturising the face, feet, hands and body. Many personal care items, including hair conditioners, also contain shea butter due to its excellent moisturising properties. However, please note that this body butter is rich in nut oils, making it unsuitable for acne-prone skin.
