What is Ocean Prevented PlasticTM?
It is recycled plastic collected from coastal areas at risk of ocean pollution. If not collected for recycling, this plastic would likely end up in the ocean. Once plastic is in the water, the sun and salt water degrade it within days, making it unusable for recycling.
Plastic collectors pick up discarded plastic bottles from areas at risk of ocean plastic pollution. At the factory, the bottles are washed, sanitised, and processed into raw material flakes, ready to be made back into sustainable packaging material.
